San Diego Opera Community Conversation
2881 Roosevelt Drive, San Diego, 92106
Age Limit: 18+
Cost: Free
In a wide-ranging conversation with elite cyclist, UCSD doctoral candidate (Spanish/Catalan History) and diabetes activist James Stout, Dr. Reveles explores connections between the themes and episodes in Cervantes’ classic novel Don Quixote (as used by Massenet in his opera Don Quixote) and a man whose life and work take him on many journeys to Spain. The conversation will be generously spiced with stories from the road with Rocinante, Stout’s trusty carbon-fiber steed and constant companion. 619-232-7636.
