The Vernon Duke Project; A man and His Two Lives is a biographical journey through the life of Vladimir Dukelsky, better known as Vernon Duke, composer of such popular songs such as "Autumn in New York," "Taking a Chance on Love," and "April in Paris." Featuring Faith Jensen-Ismay and Soprano Stacey Fraser, a longtime collaborator of Mojalet Dance Collective, this project looks at the dual musical works of Dukelsky/Duke. Featured are his serious classical compositions, excerpts from his ballets, and many of his popular Broadway creations.
Two shows on August 24, and one on August 25, all in the Vine Theater.
