Background:

Tom's Drip Tank was a late 1980s punk rock band featuring Tom Schwend and Joel Nowak. In 1990, they performed on a truck in the parking lot of every San Diego County 7/11 store — 49 at the time — in less than a day.

After losing their titular Tom (who co-founded Surf Farmer in 2015), they were known simply as Drip Tank. Drummer Paul Brewin later turned up in bands like Manual Scan, Comeuppance, El Monte Slim, and Ypsitucky.
