Stacey and the Stimulators (formerly known as Stacey and the Stimulus Package) have a repertoire that includes covers of modern hits and original tunes. Front woman Stacey Murray was raised in Georgia and, like Aretha Franklin, grew up in gospel choir settings.

Bandmates have included Paul Yancey (mandolin, guitar), Paul Hormick (string bass), and guitarist Rob Myers of the Fabulous Rudies.
