Background:

Noise pop shoegazers Mint Field was founded in 2014 by members based in Tijuana and San Diego, including Amor Amezcua, Estrella Sánchez, and Andrés Corella.

By 2017, the band had pared down to a duo featuring Amezcua and Sánchez. A debut album was released in early 2018, Pasar De Las Luces.
