Background:

Founded by brothers Jon Greene (Lowlands, Plateaus, Barbarian) and Justin Greene (Weatherbox, Italian Japanese, Oliver Trolley), soon joined by Chris Braciszewski (Snuffaluffagus), Los Platanos mixes paisley underground with slightly psychedelic jazz.

Their six-song Los Platanos EP was released in January 2016, mixed and mastered by Jon Greene (a longtime soundman at area clubs) at Electric Orange Studio, using mostly vintage gear and recording techniques. However, Jon Greene passed away that November.
