Rockabilly queen Kim Lenz grew up in San Diego, going on to record two albums with the Jaguars on Hightone Records, in 1998 and 1999. That band included bassist Jake Erwin, who’s gone on to work with Hot Club of Cowtown, formerly based in San Diego.
