UCSD alumni Ed the wOrd is a singer/songwriter who incorporates his passion for living into his music, but always maintains a good sense of humor about everything before it gets too serious.
After signing to local La Mesa label Quasi Recordings in 2010, a single “My Momma Carries Weight” was made available online as a preview for the 2011 local band compilation Picture Head. Ed the wOrd debuted the song live on January 28, 2012, at the compilation release party held at Pete’s Place.
