Originally from San Diego before relocating to Nashville, Daniel “Dude” Cervantes is a San Diego born guitarist for bands such as Mrs. Henry, Howlin’ Rain, and Chest Fever. A singer-songwriter, record producer, and label owner, he's also a solo recording artist known as Dude Cervantes.
His first live solo album, The Ride or Die of Dude Cervantes & The Panchos,, recorded live in April 2023 at The Hotel Cafe, was released in November 2025. The album features The Panchos, with guitarist Dylan Donovan of Sacri Monti (Tee Pee Records), Justin De La Vega of punk-metal trio Warish (RidingEasy Records), and bassist Ryan Grenda. A single was released with his version of the Santana classic, "Samba Pa Ti."
An album called Dude Cervantes and the Panchos dropped October 2, 2026, via Blind Owl Records, featuring guest player Jody Bagley on Fender Rhodes and Hammond organ and preceded by a single for “Billion Dollar Art.” “This record really captures my collaboration with drummer Justin De La Vega, guitarist Dylan Donovan, and bassist Ryan Grenda,” says Cervantes. “These songs are intrinsic to who I am, and The Panchos are the band I go out and ride with.”
