Background:
"I specialize in old jazz of the '20s through '40s," says sax and clarinet player Chloe Feoranzo. "I also perform and record classical, ska, funk, musicals, Choro music, cabaret, jump blues, and Italian folk music."
Feoranzo was in the fourth grade when she began taking sax lessons at her PB school, soon taking lessons from Charles McPherson and becoming a fixture at the annual San Diego Jazz Festival & Swing Extravaganza. She went on to perform with Wayne Shorter, Anat Cohen, Big Jay McNeely, Dave Pell, Plas Johnson, Bob Wilber, Dan Barrett, Johnny Crawford, Jack Hanna, Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks, the South City Three, and more.
After touring as a member of both Pokey Lafarge's band for three years, and then hooking up with Postmodern Jukebox for a U.S. tour, she moved to New Orleans in early 2017.
March 2017 was spent on a tango tour of Argentina, after which she released a duet album with Tom McDermott, Zeppelins Made To Order.
