October’s free family music program sponsored by the Friends of the Carmel Valley Library will feature the Early Music Ensemble of San Diego in an a capella concert of English, French, and Italian madrigals from the Renaissance.
The Early Music Ensemble was founded in 1972 and is dedicated to performing music from the Renaissance and Baroque periods. The group, has given concerts in the San Diego, in Europe, and across the United States. Its members are soprano Elisabeth Marti, soprano/alto Constance Lawthers, tenor John Peeling, and bass Philip Larson. The concert will last 45 minutes.
