National Flute Association Convention
With more than 3000 flutists, composers, flute scholars, flute makers, music publishers, and flute enthusiasts from all over the world, The NFA Convention celebrates beauty, inspiration, diversity, lifelong learning, and collaboration spirit in San Diego. This year’s event will feature spirited programming for solo, chamber, and flute choir recitals, masterclasses, workshops, the NFA’s world-renowned competitions, and commercial flute exhibits galore.
The public is invited to attend individual events or purchase a multi-day pass to attend a variety of performances and pedagogical sessions. Celebrating the spirit of San Diego, this event will feature solo and chamber concerts representing diverse genres, masterclasses, flute ensemble performances, and wellness and pedagogy events featuring world-class flutists of international renown. The National Flute Association is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1972. It is the largest flute organization in the world, boasting approximately 5000 members from more than 50 countries.
Performers include flutist Lori Bell, who'll appear with guitarist Ron Satterfield.
