Mozart and the Mind: Therapeutic Aspects of Music and Brain Function. Internationally renowned for her research in the clinical applications of music and neurological rehabilitation, Dr. Concetta Tomaino is co-founder of the institute for Music and Neurological Functions and lectures on music therapy throughout the world. This presentation will focus on recent studies from cognitive neuroscience that inform the practice of music therapy and bring new understanding to how music can be applied therapeutically to address a range of clinical needs.
