Inspired by Igor Stravinsky’s musical score that marks the entry of dance into modernity, Chouinard finds an original pulsation that is essential to her movement. Vigorous, with wild body movements and exceptionally eloquent primitivism, her work is “something strong and earthly that shakes your very soul." The program contains nudity.
