Yesterday morning (April 11), shortly before noon a Spring Valley man called authorities to report the theft of his marijuana at gunpoint.

The suspect, described as a black male about 35 years old, clean shaven with a stocky build, gained entrance to the victim’s residence on the 10,000 block of Sierra Madre by impersonating a police officer, including displaying a badge.

Once the suspect gained entry to the home, he held the resident at gunpoint and demanded to be given drugs. The victim turned over an undisclosed amount of marijuana, and the suspect fled the scene in a black sedan.
