Oakland Company to Demolish South Bay Power Plant
Silverado is a competent and capable contractor. However they did not "demolish portions of the Humboldt Bay Nuclear Power Plant in Eureka". They did take down the Humboldt Bay Power Plant (HBPP) Units 1&2 which were conventional oil/gas fired power plants located on the same site as HBPP Unit 3 which was a 65 GE Boiling Water Reactor. Silverado was not and is not directly involved in the decommissioning of HBPP Unit 3.— May 26, 2012 10:31 a.m.
