Poachers Get Shellfish
Give them 5 years the first time they get busted.— June 26, 2009 7:47 a.m.
BBQ Ban Next for O.B.?
I guess if i drive drunk and crash we will ban cars and alcohol. Or if i trip and fall while typing on my phone we can ban walking and phones too.— June 4, 2009 7:58 a.m.
Let’s Toast to Banning Booze
By IB Jenny "The beach has not been an enjoyable place to spend the day at in recent years" Sorry, but IB has never been one of the nice beaches. There have been loads of bums there since as long as i can remember. Try some of the many other beaches and you'll see. I spend a lot of time at the beaches and prefer the cove area. I have never seen a single drunk there, but now there can never be another BBQ where i can enjoy a beer due to these idiots that probably never go to the beach anyway. Welcome to Socialifornia, just wait for the 12pm mandatory curfew to reduce DUIs.— May 1, 2009 7:42 a.m.
Let’s Toast to Banning Booze
What a load of crap! The 20% reduction in alcohol events is probably due to the 50% reduction in people going to the beach. Lets punish everyone because <1% of the people are idiots and cause trouble when they are drunk. Maybe we should ban cars because then there would be no street racing accidents.— April 30, 2009 7:30 a.m.
Road Rage
Everyone knows that roundabouts only work well when there is little to no traffic. They become huge traffic jams with even light traffic due to their idiotic design. I would be pissed as hell if i lived up there and had to deal with this nonsense! Its funny how a couple idiots can get a crazy idea this far. They should have S' canned this plan and laughed at whoever brought it up on day 1.— April 14, 2009 7:40 a.m.
Garbage Pail Bids
Great idea! Trimming government waste is a far better option than throwing money at a problem. How about outsourcing the entire trash pickup system while were at it?— April 9, 2009 7:24 a.m.
Meter Eater
Haha, I was about to post about the Berkeley Meters. At first they were weak so people knocked the tops off them and planted flowers in them. Then they redid all the meters at a cost of over $500 ea. People couldn't knock the tops off so they cut the entire meter off the pole, or put superglue in the coin hole. They had a red light that would go on when there was a meter error and sometimes the entire street would have errors on every meter.— April 1, 2009 9:01 a.m.
