The Rock Church of Liberty Station celebrated the opening of its North County location on Sunday, March 18. From its temporary sanctuary in Carlsbad, the popular mega-church moved to a permanent location in San Marcos.

“We’re going to have live worship, live children’s ministries — everything is just like a regular church, except a screen will come down during the sermon, and I’ll be preaching on the screen,” explains McPherson in a video posted online for the purpose of introducing pastor Steve Goble. “Steve will be the campus pastor there — he’ll be there every week, ministering to the people,” says McPherson.

The North County Rock Church, at 1740 La Costa Meadows Drive, seats over 300 congregants and offers four Sunday service times (8, 10, 12, and 5).
