The 40-member New City Sinfonia, led by Daniel Ratelle, will present music by composers with a London Connection. George Frederic Handel (actually German by birth) will be represented by his Organ Concerto in D Minor, with Justin Murphy-Mancini, soloist, and excerpts from his oratorio Israel in Egypt. Also on the program will be the Overture to “Abduction from the Seraglio” by Mozart, who lived for several years in London, and Franz Joseph Haydn’s “Military” Symphony (No. 100), written in London.
