The Mainly Mozart Festival, running June 2-18, will feature a diverse line-up of artistic offerings illustrating the first chapter in Mozart’s life and career. Music Director Michael Francis has declared the 2016 season the year of “Prodigy” and has programmed early works by Mozart and other classical music prodigies. The performance features Michael Francis (conductor) and Gavin George (piano). The program includes L. Mozart's Cassation in G Major (Toy Symphony), Mozart's Symphony No. 5 in B-flat Major, K. 22, Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 5 in D Major, K. 175, Mozart's Symphony No. 52, K. 102/213c, and Mendelssohn's Symphony No. 1 in C minor, Op. 11.
