The Mainly Mozart Festival, running June 2-18, will feature a diverse line-up of artistic offerings illustrating the first chapter in Mozart’s life and career. Music Director Michael Francis has declared the 2016 season the year of “Prodigy” and has programmed early works by Mozart and other classical music prodigies. Led from the violin by William Preucil (concertmaster) and Anne-Marie McDermott (piano), the program features Mendelssohn's Concerto for Violin and Piano in D minor, Haydn's Symphony No. 39 in G minor, Hob.I:39, and Mozart Symphony No. 25 in G minor, K. 183/173dB.
