Freeman Dyson on Science
Internationally renowned scientist Freeman Dyson will discuss his two new books, Dreams of Earth and Sky and Birds and Frogs: Selected Papers, 1990-2014.

Robert Oppenheimer, Paul Dirac, and Steven Weinberg, as well as Winston Churchill’s pursuit of nuclear weapons for Britain and Wernher von Braun’s pursuit of rockets for space travel.
Birds and Frogs contains unpublished lectures and papers from 1990-2014 and surveys many topics in science, mathematics, history, and politics.
Freeman Dyson has spent most of his life a professor of physics at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton. He was born in England and worked as a civilian scientist for the Royal Air Force during World War II.
