SIMA: A Persian / American Photo Essay
5026 Cass Street, San Diego, 92109
Cost: Free
View works by Persian photographer Sima Mehrazar, a recent arrival to the U.S. from Iran, as she opens her first solo show.
SIMA gives us insight into her life in Iran, and her experience as she transitions to her new home in the U.S.A. With an exceptional eye and the unique viewpoint of a refugee moving from one distinct culture to another, Mehrazar uses photography to take us on a journey that few of us will ever experience.
