It helps to be married to a nerd. Only a nerd would have old film negatives among his stash of stuff. Doug ran in to get them when the neighbor yelled across his yard that negatives would work better than sunglasses and a dark plastic bag. Unfortunately, the eclipse didn't show in the shots, but I got some interesting photos anyway, and I thought I'd share them with you. They were taken from my front porch in the Del Dios area of Escondido

Was just visiting your website! Nice, Melinda! That comment at the closing of your GoodHousekeeping Story could very well apply to many a relationship, not just those we select to have with canine, don't you think?
