Crystal Pier and Pacific Beach
Crystal Pier has been a San Diego icon for decades. It was originally opened in 1927, and it is easily recognized both from the air and by land. I always enjoy seeing the pier during coastal flights because it brings back fond memories of living in Pacific Beach.
