GO TO HELL!
Scott Marks 9:44 a.m., May 21
the year of the locust
where does it lie
'neath seven years of dust
mismanaged by it's imfamy
there's no air of mystery
within it's fine cocoon
only willful savagery waits
in darkest heat to bloom
ravenously devouring as a crystalis appears
it's appetite is rising
it hopes to find you near
the year of the locust all appetite and lust

Very nice, nan, perfect poetry as usual. It reminds me of the verse from King Solomon: "Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes."

loved the poem Nan. Have you ever submitted any of your POETRY FOUNDATION? They are a paying market. If they accept your poem, which usually you get the status after about six weeks, they will pay.
