A United States Border Patrol agent fired 10 rounds from his handgun killing the driver after being struck and carried by a car on Friday, September 28th. National and local news has covered the story of the agent who shot and killed 32 year old Valeria Monique Alvarado. Alvarado was hit with 5 of the 10 rounds fired at close range.

The agent, whose identity has not been released yet, was not in uniform. Agents were serving a warrant in a Chula Vista neighborhood when the plainclothes agent was hit by a passing car which led to the alleged self-defense shooting to stop the vehicle.

No, LE telling a LIE to cover their fannies??? As in the Kelly Thomas murder in OC (3 cops charged with felony murder). I am shocked!

They lie like crazy, and it starts at the top and b/c of that becomes a culture. A culture of corruption.

The story that was initially reported was straight from the Border Patrol. The media reported it as fact, not as an account from an agency that might not be telling the unvarnished truth. In the coming days, we'll see/hear much that differs with the story as told at first. This could very well turn into another scandal involving law enforcement. Hold your judgement for the time being and wait for it to play out.

The Agent probably thought she was a suspect, so he stood in front of her car in an effort to detain her. She probably thought he was a kook or a carjacker, so she put the car in reverse to avoid hitting him and to get away. At that point the Agent probably went Rambo and jumped on the hood of the car like an idiot and grabbed the windshield wiper arms to steady himself. When the woman didn't immediately stop the car, he fired through the windshield in a panic. So now the Border Patrol is trying to spin the story by claiming the agent was hit by the car and fired only to save his life. If the Agent in fact jumped on the car, then he should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. This situation has a very bad odor.

He was not in unifom, and if someone NOT in a uniform jumps in front of me with a gun I am jacking it in reverse or running the douche bag over. One of the two.
