tuesday's eggs over easy

conversations

inside

and out

hoping to hide

but can't

trying to escape

but don't know how

let's chase what it is that i have away

order

a large coffee black

my cup

and a seat by the window

trees

telling me its

breezy

not so sun shiny

every car i see is white

racing on tuesday's track

eggs

over easy

sunny side up

toast rye

hash browns

thinking

have bills to pay

cross my heart

hope and pray

acting like most folks

eyes looking ahead

and down

no reason to smile

or frown

first mile

complete

going through motions

learned

yearn to unlearn

and learn all over again

Again, Z, very nicely portrayed images and effectively conveyed sensations. Like it a lot! Love the way this one begins--conversations in your head, hoping to hide, trying to escape, chasing what you have away with a stiff cup o' Joe and another oh so ordinary day goin' through THE motions. Really--quite wonderful writing.

a big thank you - i pulled this or so i thought - i had a hard time -not- rhyming the words and wasn't all that into the result ...small changes made not even sure you may notice i added a few new lines and rearranged another or so
