Chargers coach Norv Turner has been spotted in Los Angeles, pitching the team to 40 to 50 would-be season ticket holders during a "meet and greet" dinner that the team threw at Home Depot Center--and fueling rumors that the team may soon be on the road to a permanent home in the L.A. market. The L.A. Times blogged the sighting last week.-mp

I would be very unhappy if the Chargers left, but Norv can leave town anytime. He is the worst coach ever. I have seen more emotion out of a tub of butter!

I think I can speak for all San Diegans when I say "Spanos - sell the Chargers to someone who likes San Diego, San Diegans are tired of your poor management and nepotism, seriously!"

I love the Chargers, but they are not getting anymore taxpayer money.

So, if they want to leave don't let the door hit them in the butt on the way out.

Noboby cares about the sorry azz chargers in SD unless they are winning!! If the chargers were a winning franchise these bandwagon fans in SD would support them. But since the chargers are a losing franchise then bandwagon SD don't really care about them. The fans of the detroit lions still supported their team even though they didn't win a game last season. But here in SD there were no charger fans until they beat the colts and found out they could make the play-offs. Then after they got their azz spank by the steelers the fake bandwagon fans disappeared. If I was spanos i would move my team to a city that comes to the games and supports the team all the time , not only when they are winning. SD HOME TO THE FAKE BANDWAGON CHARGER FAN!!!!

Hey Spliff Maybe we fake fans are just fed up. Loyalty is a 2 way street. You don't blindly follow an organization that has not only had fan support but ripped the taxpayers mericlessly in the opinion of some people. It should interest you to know that according to ESPN the Chargers were 16th in home attendance and drew more fans at home last season than Pittsburg and Chicago amongst others. Your "loyal" Lion fans were 30th in attendance! What do we get in return? We'll leave town if you dont build us a new stadium!! Yes we want a winner or we can put our money and time elsewhere. That's not new. I remember the days when the Chicago Cubs played before 500 fans at Wrigley. Why is it "fair weather" when the fans get upset and lose interest, but a "business decision" when the team decides to leave, milk another cow for a few years and who knows , maybe move again.

I'm pretty sure the fans are fed up. Fed up of being fake. Did ESPN say anything about the companies in SD that were buying the remaining tickets then GIVING them away so that the home games wouldn't be black out here in SD last year!! I'm pretty sure ESPN didn't give that info. You say loyalty is a 2 way street i believe that , but SD is only loyal when they are winning!! I remember when seau was playing for the chargers and he said in a interview that playing in SD was like playing in a away game. So where's the loyalty at? The only reason the chargers have had high attendance , is because they have been going to the play-off these past few seasons. You say lions fans were 30th in attendance last year , but they ain't talking about the team moving anywhere any time soon like the chargers are doing and they still playing on turkey day this year. The chargers need a new stadium , because Jack Murphy isn't handicap friendly and people have been protesting them on the issue. The sports industry is all about money and all that money they spend on getting the best players they have to make that back. The chargers got on of the best RB and TE in the league and if that can't sell out home games. Then why stay in a city with half azz support?
