TIJUANA, BC (Frontera, Luis Gerardo Andrade) - Last night a young man at an Internet café in colonia Francisco Villa was shot to death. It was reported to the authorities, at 10 p.m. on Tuesday, at a location on avenida Abraham González. The victim was identified as Alberto Santana Pinedo, 23. People at the scene reported that a man approached the now deceased and without words shot him several times then left the place. According to the same authorities, they found five caliber 45 shells.
TIJUANA, BC (Frontera) - A car accident last night left a woman dead and one other with serious injuries on Vía Rápida Oriente. It was reported at about 11 p.m. yesterday, a driver hit the containment walls entering Avenida Internacional. The passenger was thrown several meters from the car. A large group of police officers from various police agencies, firefighters and Red Cross paramedics arrived quickly however the woman who was thrown on the pavement had already died. Meanwhile to get the woman driver entrapped from the vehicle, the intervention of the Red Cross specialized accident unit was needed. After her rescue, she was taken to the Hospital General de Tijuana. Until last night, her state of health was very delicate. The car, which they were traveling in, was a recent model with California plates. So far, it is not known if the women resided in United States. The vehicle was destroyed.
TIJUANA, BC (Frontera) – A corpse was found inside a car in a public parking lot near the San Ysidro gate. Authorities are searching the parking lot located next to the taxi stop in the Le Pear roundabout and seeking information on the case. The vehicle is a Brown Hyundai and the body was found in the trunk. The car has California plates. Although there has been no official information, it is presumed that the victim is a woman.
