Feel the Beat
SD on the QT ? Matthew Lickona? Walter Mencken? What's going on here? None of this was in the Oct.24th street issue! Color me confused.— October 24, 2013 7:40 p.m.
Speeding Prius crashes cars in La Jolla
Prescott: Didn't this happen today, Wednesday October 23rd? The article says the 22nd.— October 23, 2013 4:47 p.m.
Walmart and Sempra bankroll anti-Fletcher hit piece
I find it interesting that the only issue Fletcher's adversaries continue to regurgitate is that of him switching parties. No scandals, closet skeletons or past political missteps. Many may view his leaving the Republican party as finally "seeing the light".— October 23, 2013 12:09 p.m.
Postal Service numbers reveal weak U-T circulation
Manchester never wanted a newspaper. He wanted a bully pulpit.— October 8, 2013 8:58 p.m.
Campus Style
"There" closets? Surprising especially since the weekly used to offer a reward for spelling and grammar errors. Tsk.— September 19, 2013 5:07 p.m.
Mayor Filner: PLEASE don't resign
Great article. Accusations are cheap, and those that would benefit from his resignation are merely throwing whatever they can manufacture at him just to see what sticks. Don't resign, Mr. Filner.— July 13, 2013 9:52 a.m.
Clairemont residents fight against zoning amendment needed for popular fast-food burger joint 173-feet from nearby homes
I have very little sympathy for the condo owners. I also live near this Vons/Kohls/CVS center and the busy intersection of Balboa/Genesee, both of which were here long before the condos were built. They knew that this was not a serene location when they bought there. This is like the people of Point Loma who bought in the Lindbergh Field flight path then complain about the jet noise. I look forward to patronizing a new In-And-Out.— June 5, 2013 3:45 p.m.
