FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
World-Class violinist, Alex DePue, and Mexican flamenco guitarist, Miguel De Hoyos, invite you to San Diego for a very special evening of live music! This performance will happen at LeStat's (www.lestats.com) Coffee House in Normal Heights on June 21st at 9 PM.
DePue is off "the road" long enough to perform on home turf! After a Gold Record and a Grammy nomination through his work with rock guitarist, Steve Vai, Alex finds himself quite comfortable hanging out on the west coast and performing for intimate gatherings before hitting the road once again, next time with Miguel De Hoyos. 2013 is currently planned with extensive touring for the duo in the US.
De Hoyos has been praised by public officials and diplomats within the country of Mexico and has a three-story mural, painted onto a city building wall right across the border in Tijuana, in honor of his image and what his music means to the natives of Mexico in general.
That same night, DePue/DeHoyos intend to proudly introduce a new guitar phenomenon, Jake Allen, also a singer/songwriter. "We are finally crossing that border to put on our best show ever in sunny San Diego and are sooooo excited to introduce you to original sounds from a young musician whose style of playing the guitar is unlike anything you've experienced thus far! Join us for this special night of music!", says DePue.
Admission is only $12. Please tell all of your friends! Here is the event link on Facebook:
