Queen Bee's Art & Cultural Center

Hello, My name is Jeff, and I am the manager of a business in North Park that is called Queen Bee's Art & Cultural Center. It is a very unique place that hosts a variety of different events from art shows, live music, comedy shows, private events, and more. We also teach classes like yoga, capoeira, many different dances, art classes, and more. We have a capacity of 300 people, with a main room and a gallery space, and our total square footage is almost 8,000. Not only do we provide entertainment for the people of San Diego, we are also very involved with the homeless youth population in San Diego. We work very closely with a Non-Profit called photocharity, that has raised over a million dollars to fund the "Storefront", the only emergency shelter for kids 12-17 in San Diego. Eighteen percent of all profits made here go to fund the House of Hope which is going to be the first shelter for kids in the 18-24 year old age bracket, and Queen Bee's will be the place they go to learn the skills they need to have to make it on their own.
