"Hundreds of alternate haulout/rookery sites" you said "sites" (and you are naming rocks - and by the way did you find inhabitable beaches for humans on Google Earth?). there are no EXISTING sites. Potential sites are not sites. A plot of land is not a house. It's a potential for a house IF and WHEN. this is not a scientific discussion, and will never be between the two sides - I am done with this 100s of "rookery sites" topic.— April 4, 2011 8 a.m.

you are assuming that there are suitable places in the county but there are very few, (just by dividing 2 numbers?) and in reality the closest one is 120 miles away. I'd be happy if you named a few more rookeries in San Diego county. And I'd be happier if the seals left to a place where they are left alone to end this nonsense....— April 4, 2011 12:05 a.m.
