College Republicans Rate Professors as "Teachers or Preachers"
My name is Brett Robbins. I'm one of the SDSU instructors referred to as a "teacher" (rather than a "preacher") on the list recently compiled by a group on campus that refers to themselves as the "College Republicans." Lucky me. If I have a bias it's one I share with most if not all of my colleagues under the so-called "preachers" column of this list: THINK FOR YOURSELF. To be labeled "teacher" rather than "preacher" by a group whose very name reflects the sort of political bias they claim to despise in others means absolutely nothing to me. Whoever you are: PLEASE REMOVE ME FROM YOUR LIST. Brett Robbins Department of Classics & Humanities San Diego State University [email protected]— January 17, 2012 3:10 a.m.
