Imitation Diamond
David J Sherry is no "Imitation Diamond!" He just happens to be an amazingly talented performer who loves Neil Diamond's music! Having seen Neil many times in concert, I can honestly say that though David is singing Neil's beautiful music, he is interpreting the lyrics and presenting them in his own. unique way. David is performing this Saturday the 5th at the Avo Playhouse, 7.30 PM, in Vista, CA. Don't walk, RUN to Avo, you are in for a fabulous evening of music and merriment! PS I bet Neil wished he had David's hair when the two met curtsy of Randy Cierley-Sterling, Neil's former band member. LOL— November 2, 2011 11:30 p.m.
San Diego tribute bands: 40 Ounces to Freedom (Sublime), Dust N’ Bones (Guns N’ Roses), Dazed and Confused (Led Zeppelin)
I was at the Neil Diamond tribute show show in that decrepit theater in Encinitas. Yes, it was freezing cold, the sound disappeared, a dog was running rampant in and out of the pews,BUT, David J Sherry didn't let all the distractions bother him and sang his heart out, much to the delight of the audience who gave him standing ovations! Bravo David, keep on singing you're the best!— March 21, 2009 4:40 p.m.
The Real Neil
Have seen David J Sherry several times in concert and he is phenomenal. His singing and acting are truly exceptional and a joy to watch. Having seen Neil Diamond in concert many times from the beginning of his career to present, I can honestly state that David's interpretations of Neil's songs and stage mannerisms are "right on"and a fabulously detailed tribute to a consummate artist.— January 25, 2009 2:26 p.m.
