Men are lousy lovers
"But in tackling male erectile dysfunction, Apricus faces stiff competition ..." Et tu, Bauderus? Next you'll be quoting some critic of female sexual dysfunction who thinks the whole concept is "all wet."— April 10, 2013 6:02 p.m.
Starbucks coffee machine swiped at Fashion Valley mall
Actually, "lede" is the proper term here. In the journalism industry, particularly in the United States, the word is spelled and pronounced to rhyme with "need." U-T and Port: Bring in the Clowns
Good luck with that one, Don. The guy has quaffed the Kool-Aid and will do or say whatever his corporate masters command — journalistic ethics be damned — as will the rest of the U-T San Diego staff who fear for their jobs.— October 19, 2012 10:31 a.m.

VigilantinCV said: "Being one of a dying breed who still likes to hear the newspaper hit our driveway I have mixed feelings. I hate what the UT is today but we need a newspaper so badly." I couldn't agree more. Unfortunately, that's exactly how Platinum provides its product — BADLY.— August 10, 2011 10:50 p.m.
Union-Tribune Edits Out Name of Owner
It's no surprise that this is the only kind of editing — the wrong kind, of course — going on at the U-T (Uncaught Typos) these days.— June 23, 2011 9:03 p.m.
It Was Scary Up There on the Coronado Bay Bridge
For the record, there's no such thing as the "Coronado Bay Bridge," just as there's no Coronado Bay. It's the San Diego-Coronado Bridge, stretching over San Diego Bay to link the two cities in its name. Just sayin' ...— June 15, 2011 12:17 a.m.
More Layoffs at Union-Tribune
Truly sad to see the continued decimation of what was once a major metro daily newspaper — and don't even get me started on the journalistic atrocity that is SignOn San Diego, where it's glaringly obvious that quality has been totally abandoned in favor of "page views."— June 14, 2011 10:11 p.m.
