City of Industry to Vote Jan. 20 on $500 Million Infrastructure Bond that Would Serve Planned New StadiumDon: Today's UT announced the opening of the new San Diego Se Hotel as Follows: The owners of Sé San Diego are opening a $500-a-night luxury hotel – which claims the West Coast's biggest penthouse at $20,000 per night. The owners of Sé San Diego are opening a $500-a-night luxury hotel – which claims the West Coast's biggest penthouse at $20,000 per night – in an economy more amenable to Motel 6 .... xxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx In light of the "urgency" of keeping the Chargers from even thinking of leaving San Diego, Council President Ben Hueso demanded the Council meet immediately at the new Se hotel to discuss how to best give the Spanos Cartel a new stadium using taxpayer $$$$ AND provide President Ben with a comfortable space to complete his car mileage report. PRESIDENT BEN said: " We'll show them - No Motel 6 Environment on this City Council"..... Best

Federal Reserve Essentially Admits It Is Fighting Depression, Not Simply Recession. It Lowers Interest Rate Target to Lowest Level EverRight again JohnnyV - and in the meantime the guy who got hit with the shoe is going to preserve his legacy using the remainiing giveaway $$$$$$ in the TARP fiasco to "loan" it unconditionally to the incompetent auto makers and their Union bosses - gut then, remember "our economy is fundamentally sound!

Goldsmith Continues Cheap Shots on City Website. He Criticizes Predecessor for Politicizing Office, Then Politicizes It Even MoreResponse to Don on #13: Slight disagreement re Casey Gwinn: while it's true only morons like OJ and I guess Jesse Jr. would hire Gwinn for anything, AND he undoubtedly was in fact legally "overmatched" in the stadium fiasco giveaway negotiations, my belief is that he did exactly what Mayor Susan and city manager Jack and the rest of the Republican cartel directed him to do - do whatever was The best for Moores and the sports/builders/business interests - City's best financial interests played no part in the "negotiations". Guess we were lucky Gwinn wasn't arround to expedite the public financing of a new stadium for the Spanos Cartel - but hey, we've got Judge Jan now to roll that one over us taxpayer fools. Best....
