A good year for women on film, as exemplified in new releases The Eyes of My Mother, Miss Sloane, and more

As a Graphic Designer, I am an expert in using imagery to convey moods, establish emotional connections, and ultimately promote clients’ products, services and ideas. A graduate of the well-regarded Savannah College of Art and Design, my career goal is to focus my abundant energies on work that will have a positive impact on society.
Since earning my Bachelor’s Degree seven years ago, I have worked on the corporate, agency, freelance and print production sides of the business. Able to generate multiple ideas for any given project, I often draw upon nature for design inspiration. My extensive experience includes taking a broad range of print and web projects from idea to completion for clients across many different industries. My design strengths include typography, texture, color use and attention to detail.
Values and Influences
My personal values, passion and creativity influence every project I take on. Plus, I’m lots of fun to work with! As I was finishing high school Rick Poynor published the First Things First 2000 manifesto. It urged designers to use their skills to improve the world around them rather than to focus on marketing alone. Reading this impacted my decision to pursue an education in graphic design and carry the focus on environment and community into my professional career.
