Biography
Patrizia dubbed Th e Sultry Lady Of Jazz by her fans is a Denver, Colorado native, daughter of the late Dr. Harry Ellsworth Rahming II a prominent Surgeon, grandaughter of the late Reverend Harry Ellsworth Rahming I an Episcopal Priest, grew up in a very religous family with a love for all kinds of Music. She is a highly acclaimed Jazz Vocalist/Recording Artist/Composer based out of San Diego, California. Best known for her heartfelt, sultry renditions of Jazz and Blues Standards, as well as her stylish upbeat interpretations of Swing, Bebop, Latin Jazz and her personal compositions. Her musical creativity has been well represented through her innovative jazz concert programs. She has performed jazz concerts, solo, duos, trios, quartets etc and orchestras at various art centers, concert halls, churches and synagogues, colleges and schools, theaters, house concerts, art galleries, libraries, and festivals. appeared on numerous radio and television stations and has been highly praised by many Jazz Stations, Magazines and critics for her vocal abilities and musical interpretations. Now a popular San Diego based Jazz Vocalist, was dubbed The Sultry Lady of Jazz by her fans, because of her naturally pure way of creating strong emotions in her listeners. Her album, "ALL THE THINGS YOU ARE." now considered a collectors item and receiving International Recognition consists of an impressive collection of 12 Classic Jazz Standards. Patrizia is expected to introduce the record via several intimate showcases followed by a tour planned for late spring.
Patrizia put together a stellar group of master musicians, consisting of Richard James on Piano, Daniel Jackson on Tenor-Sax, Bob Magnusson on Bass, and Ronnie Stewart on Drums. She calls them, "My Four Outstanding Sidemen mentors, my big brothers”. "Each one knowing the role of their instrument so well, that even upon seeing the arrangements for the first time,(the album was recorded live), the performances they deliver are truly outstanding”.
