U-T Heads Will Be Chopped More Severely; Economics Dictates It
I found it on wsj.com. Looks like you did not misquote. :-( Bad news for the 1050 loyal.— March 27, 2009 2:05 p.m.
U-T Heads Will Be Chopped More Severely; Economics Dictates It
First of all, even if he did say that, you are speculating as to his meaning. Second, I can't believe you are quoting him without anything to back it up. I suppose making things up to make your blog more interesting to the few who read it is your MO.— March 27, 2009 8:46 a.m.
U-T Heads Will Be Chopped More Severely; Economics Dictates It
Response to post #28: Where did you hear/read this Black statement? I have been following this story closely and this is the first I've heard it.— March 26, 2009 3:44 p.m.
U-T Heads Will Be Chopped More Severely; Economics Dictates It
Wow, no UT stories for a week. Are your internal sources not leaking or are they leaking information that is just not caustic enough to be blog worthy?— March 26, 2009 8:59 a.m.
If 3 Major Dailies Are Worth $22 Million, What Is U-T Worth?
You sure seem obsessed with the worth of the paper. Are you interested in buying? If you really want to know, the value of the paper has no monetary measurement. The real value lies in the people who are working hard every day to make sure the good people of San Diego have a daily newspaper and website. I honestly think you would be happy if the Union-Tribune closed its doors. Why not make your next blog “Why Don Bauder hates the Union-Tribune”. That is really what we would like to know.— March 3, 2009 3:25 p.m.
KUSI's McKinnon Still Interested in Union-Tribune Purchase, but Industry Turmoil Slows Any Deal
It seems to me that one of your sources is an old friend inside the UT. That person should be ashamed of themselves, and you should be ashamed of yourself. The UT is still home to 1,000 people who work hard to create a nice product every day and who depend on their jobs to feed their families. You may think you are huring Copley and Bell with your posts, but you are merely hurting the people who matter.— March 2, 2009 1:59 p.m.
