Do Clubs Need Permission to YouTube Bands? Plus Courtney Love’s 12 Steps to Stardom, Stone Temple Pilots: Cool or Uncool?, Local David Bowie Book & more
I can understand the venues concerns. I mean, some venues deal with royalties and performance/mechanical fees when high profile artists come and perform. This is the case when you have the army of "suits" that come with the band. But - overall - the venues are doing the bands a favor by YouTube-ing them and posting it. By the way, love the YouTube cartoons. Hilarious! -------------- OliviaB.— April 2, 2009 9:46 a.m.
