Down in Austin, Franklin is the king

I just checked out the Texas Monthly BBQ Fest. Looks amazing! This is something I may have to do. I got a taste for good BBQ and have been craving it since I got back. http://www.tmbbq.com/bbqfestival/?page_id=5

Long Hair Can't Cover My Red Neck

Hi Ken, I know this is an old article, but I just came across it. David Allen Coe was supposed to be in San Diego tonight (I was going to try to find a ticket), and just noticed that it was cancelled. I don't understand why they book him in these cities that he just ends up cancelling. It's too bad...I was looking forward to seeing him.

Jack White, Steady as He Goes

Hi Jane. I don't recall Jack White making any comments like this. I think what he said was that he would never play with the White Stripes again, but as far as not playing any of their songs? Not sure. Either way...I'm glad he does because those are his songs and they rock!
