Mendenhall Glacier Alaska
Had a BLAST! Won the tickets, but would have been worth paying full price. Never waited more than three minutes for delicious food and drinks. Kobe beef slider, (Inslider) with sweet potato tots..the best! Ate AHI for the first time from the Yardhouse. Discovered Arrogant Bastard is my favorite beer. Had a Black Orchid martini, (Martini's on Fourth) that was delicious (had never had a martini before) and the Hurricane, (Proud Mary's) was nice on ice on a hot muggy night. (My Saints jersey got me some beads). Finished the evening with a chocolate peanut butter bar (Magnolia Tap and Kitchen) and blended coffee (Better Buzz Coffee). Will definitely be there again next year. Friendly group of people, servers were happy to answer questions, and definitely kept the food and drink coming.
Attended the Adams Avenue Street fair Saturday. Had a blast! Bought VIP and Beer tasting tickets. Well organized, good variety of vendors and beer servers were awesome. Met new people, enjoyed the music, and bought some nice jewelry as well as souvenir T-shirt. Great price for nice shirt...$10 bucks well spent! This was the first year I have gone, but will definitely be back next year. Thanks to the Reader for another great party!

Beautiful meadow near Seward, Alaska. Move-in ready!
Help me out here. Are the laws about living in a motorhome or trailer parked on the street different in the County from the City? Or just in Lakeside. They park across from my apartment bldg. on Vine St. for weeks, not days. Dealing drugs, drinking, fighting, and the most disgusting?? letting their "blackwater" (sewage) drain onto the street. Call the Sheriff you say? Been there..done that. The whole complex has. Anyone have another idea?
