typical. Just like when @ council meetings and they are supposed to be listening to public comment and instead are on their PDAs and Laptops getting their actual instructions.
Our Democracy has become a sad joke where even down to the local level 'our representatives' are doing their benefactors, NOT the public's interest. They have to censor the pages, otherwise it would be obvious how unpopular this plan is to the public
Yes it is HIS facebook page but its not his PERSONAL Facebook page and he is presenting it as his Council Facebook page to discuss D3 issues. If it were his personal FB page I'd agree but it's not. There is a difference. He wants to have it both ways.
It's not nice to harass women. If they come forward, they can be cross-examined to see if the developers are behind this effort. There are billions of dollars at stake for developers who want lax regulations.
If the complaints were made by many credible women who lack bias and whose complaints are corroborated, then we can trust that Filner would resign.
But the fact that there is so much money at stake for developers casts doubt in my mind.
There is no urgency. Let's see "due process" and examine the witnesses under oath.
Got it: Anonymous sources who say they're intimidated and afraid are absolutely terrible and unreliable. Unless they're YOUR intimidated and afraid anonymous sources. Then they're totally fine.
