Also 1948 Broadway, Golden Hill. These guys started the gentrification of Golden Hill’s “downslope” area almost single-handedly. Now it’s a coffee hangout with decent health-oriented breakfast and lunch dishes. Try the “feta 1” eggplant sandwich and the goat salad. Inexpensive.
