Maoli

Maoli brings a unique sound that many have dubbed "Country Reggae" a fusion of country, R&B, soul, rock and roll, and reggae to Humphreys by the Bay.


Maoli is an award-winning reggae artist from Hawaii whose sound blends reggae beats with island melodies. Songs often concern Hawaiian culture and life on the islands. He has collaborated with other popular Hawaiian artists like Keali’i Reichel, Jah Maoli, and The Green. Guests Lindsay James and Payton Sullivan will join. 

When: Thursday, April 25, 7 pm

Book Crawlers receive a Book Crawl ‘Passport’ at their first bookstore stop and receive stamps as they shop at any of the participating bookstores. The more stamps you collect, the more prizes you win!

The San Diego Book Crawl coincides with Independent Bookstore Day and St. Jordi’s Day (a book holiday in Spain), and encourages San Diegans to visit as many of the local independent bookstores as possible. Book crawlers receive a book crawl passport at their first bookstore stop and a stamp. The more stamps you collect, the more prizes you can win. At Warwick’s there will be a bilingual storytime with Esther Rier, a knight and dragon, a meet and greet with author Susan Lee, live music by Annela Flores, and paella for purchase.

Encinitas Spring Street Fair

The Encinitas Spring Street Fair is a celebration that marks the arrival of spring, turning the historic Highway 101 into a bustling promenade of festivities.


Spanning several blocks, the fair is a showcase of over 450 local shops, vendors, and artisans. There will be booths of handmade jewelry, ceramics, paintings, and textiles. Enjoy live music, food from local eateries, face painting, games, and performances. 

When: Saturday, April 27, 9 am to 5 pm
