09:45 Cliff: Multiple lifeguard units along with medical and emergency units respond to a subject in an altered level of consciousness on the beach trail at Torrey Pines State Beach. Patient extracted be helicopter. Lifeguards cancelled.

10:12 Boating: Lifeguard vessels respond to 38’ boat adrift in Mariner’s Basin. Adrift boat anchored.

10:26 Medical: Lifeguards respond to bottom of Black Gold Rd. for stingray injury. Patient treated on scene.

13:16 Boating: PWC taking on water. Lifeguard Jet Ski on scene. PWC assisted back to Dana Landing Dock by lifeguard rescue vessel.

13:38 Medical: Head injury, 16 year-old Junior Guard intern, buoy to the head. Lifeguard, emergency and medical units on scene. Patient transported to Scripps La Jolla.

15:23 Medical: CPR at Island and Strand way. Lifeguard, emergency, and medical units on scene. Fire handles.

15:35 Medical: Fainting, 31 year-old female at Biological Way. Lifeguard and emergency on scene. Patient advised and released.

16:19 Enforcement: Speeding PWC, failing to stop at Paradise Point. Lifeguard rescue vessel on scene.

20:25 Medical: 22 year-old male was rescued at Mission Beach. Lifeguard requests medics for an evaluation. Lifeguard, emergency, and medical units on scene. Patient advised and released.

22:19 River: Person in SD River at 1620 Camino De La Reina. Multiple lifeguard and emergency units responding. Lifeguards clear, patient out of the water and with emergency personnel.

August 2

12:58 Medical: Lifeguards respond to a report of a 36-year-old with a stingray puncture. Patient is treated and released.

13:28 Medical: Casa Lifeguards respond to a report of a 56-year-old male complaining of heat related issues. Patient is transported by medics to Kaiser.

15:12 Medical: 13 year-old suffering from injures related to a fall on Fiesta Island. Bay guards, lifeguard vessel respond. Fire handles with no lifeguard assistance.

16:40 Medical: Pacific Beach guards request medics for a 23 year-old male complaining of a stingray wound. Medics and fire respond. Patient advised and released.

17:11 Medical: 911 transfer from San Diego Police Department and San Diego Fire/Rescue reports person run over by motorhome on Fiesta Island. Lifeguards respond. Medics treat patient. Patient transported to UCSD.

17:35 Other: VHF caller states there is a motorhome fire on Fiesta Island. Lifeguards, including vessel, respond to find a fully engulfed 25’ vehicle near the shoreline. Lifeguard vessel pumps water to fire engines engaging fire.

August 1

09:37 Medical: 30 year-old male with a cut leg from a fall at the foot of Newport Avenue. Lifeguards and San Diego Police respond. Patient elopes.

10:32 Enforcement: Person doing drugs on the beach near tower 33. Lifeguard responds. Person in question leaves area.

12:23 Boating: Vessel accident. Hit and run. 15 year-old with a leg injury near Campland by the Bay in Mission Bay. Lifeguard, emergency, San Diego Police, and medical units respond. Patient advised and released. Vessel accident report filed.

13:12 Medical: Fall with traumatic injuries. 54 year-old female. Lifeguards and medics respond. Patient transported to Mercy.

13:50 Other: Dog left unattended in parking lot at North Pacific Beach. Lifeguard responds. Owner returns.

15:51 Enforcement: Person harassing lifeguards at Blacks Beach. Lifeguards and State Parks Rangers respond. Subject identified and released by rangers.

July 31

06:00 Enforcement: Report of person with mental health disorder at Tower 2 in Ocean Beach, female in a state of disrobe. San Diego Police report no assistance needed.

08:45 Medical: Report of 24 year-old female with mental health disorder in the parking lot at the foot of Ocean Beach Pier.

12:05 Cliff rescue: Ladder Rescue at Blacks Beach of 3 uninjured victims.

13:12 Other: Box canyon, Blacks, 2 toddlers at Boundary Line. Lifeguard cliff crew just completed cliff rescue on two persons with ladder. At site had two more after the fact. Party in question convinced to turn around and go back and escorted by lifeguards.

14:55 Boating: Rescue. 2 overturned vessels at tip of Point Loma. Crew from Jet Ski in on beach. 2 people clear, they will launch from beach. US Coast Guard calls all clear at 15:08 Jet#1 spots 2 on the rocks 15:09.

16:21 Medical: Stingray victim at Blacks Beach. Patient treated and released.
