Moments before the bears were released from their private quarters, a celebrity handler asked me to take one step back as she lured Tori, Dean, and Denise to the spot in which I had been standing. I stared at the back of their heads while the keeper coaxed a female bear, Chinook, over to the wall. The majestic creature rose to a towering upright position; she planted her huge paws against the mesh wall to brace herself while she licked peanut butter from a plastic lollypop. She was putting on an impressive show for the audience. I wondered if the bear realized that, despite her commanding performance, she was not the center of attention.

Let me start by saying, I could less about country music. However, one time I got caught up in a crowd of Garth Brooks fans clamoring for an autograph, handshake, or picture with the superstar. I just wanted to get through the crowd. As I was half way through, I could see him making his way right towards me. An excitement built up inside me. I shouted, "Garth, Garth" and waved like a twelve year old girl. I can't explain it and still get embarrassed when I think about it.

HAHA! That's great, John, too funny. You're not alone, I assure you. It's human nature. ;)

I screamed in Neil Patrick Harris's face "NEIL, NEIL!!!" as if he were 200 yards away rather than twelve inches. Even as the words were coming out of my mouth I was mortified, but I could not stop myself. He looked at me (or rather, looked right through me) and kept going. But I swear, we made eye contact.....

David and I followed NPH through SOHO, like a couple of stalkers. We were extra ecstatic to see that he was carrying a new iMac as he trekked through the city. I never got close enough to declare my devotion to following his work. I LOVE NPH! Now I can follow him on Twitter, and he's hilarious.
