Twenty years ago today (9/1/85), Black Flag, the Minutemen, and SWA played Palisade Gardens Roller Rink on University near 30th. Police stopped the show four times due to noise complaints. Nearby businesses frequently petitioned owner Johnnie Wright to shut down Palisade's concerts. The shows stopped soon after this one.
